Children Public and Private Law Conference - St John's Chambers

Thanks to those that completed a recent survey, St John's Chambers is able to deliver an even bigger Children Public and Private Law conference this year.

The Children’s team will be hosting a full day public and private law conference on Tuesday, 19th November at We the Curious in Bristol, which will be split into two sessions. There will be a crossover of topics before and after lunch to ensure attendees are provided with everything they need to assist with their day-to-day practice.

The conference will provide the latest procedural, case law and legislative updates from experienced lawyers and is recommended to all busy family law practitioners.

Some of the topics include:

  • A case law update including the biggest children’s cases in the 12-months.
  • Domestic abuse: coercive and controlling behaviour.
  • Alienating behaviours.
  • What children lawyers need to know about mental health law.
  • Parenting with learning difficulties. What we need to think about and learning points.
  • Transparency in the family court.
  • Covert recordings in family proceedings.
  • Workshops and even more - WATCH THIS SPACE!
