Law firm secures £16m contract for estates advice to Ministry of Justice

Law firm Michelmores has secured a contract worth up to £16m to provide the Ministry of Justice with estates-related legal services.
The contract was awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of:
- Understanding the Requirements (weighting 15);
- Relevant Experience (weighting 35);
- Personnel (weighting 15);
- Service Delivery (weighting 35);
- Price (value for money assessment).
The MoJ said it received eight offers to handle the work, which relates to the custodial and non-custodial estate of the MoJ for England and Wales.
