Pinsent Masons grows turnover 12% to £362m for 2014/15
- Details
Law firm Pinsent Masons saw its turnover rise 12% in 2014/15 to £362.2m, with profits per equity partner reaching £538k.
The firm said the results followed a year of expansion. It now has more than 400 partners, and has unveiled plans to open in Sydney and Melbourne.
Pinsent Masons cited its role advising the Home Office on the legal proceedings around the termination of a £750m IT contract as one of the highlights of its year.
John Cleland, the firm’s managing partner, said: "It has been a positive year in which we have reaped the rewards of several significant investments we have made over a number of years.
“What this demonstrates is how crucial strategic investments are to profitable growth. This has been an 'investment-lite' year by our own recent standards. I would anticipate that over the next year we will make more investments than we did in the year just passed.”
