Bevan Brittan appoints property finance lawyer as partner
- Details
National law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed property finance specialist Jessica Church as a partner.
Church, who joins from Trowers & Hamlins, will be based in the firm’s Bristol office but will work nationally. She had previously spent six years as a senior associate in the housing team at Bevan Brittan.
It is the second partner appointment by Bevan Brittan in 2021 after the arrival of pensions specialist Nigel Bolton.
The firm also appointed two partners, Deborah Rowntree and Louise Leaver, in its housing finance team last year,
Bevan Brittan said Church’s addition “boosts the strength and depth of the firm’s broader property finance offering as the Housing Finance Team expands its support for registered providers – with a focus on securing properties to raise funds on the capital markets through mechanisms including sustainable bonds and ESG funding more generally”.
Louise Leaver, Partner and Head of Banking & Finance at Bevan Brittan, said: “With high levels of funding activity in the Affordable Housing sector, Jessica is an excellent addition to our growing Housing Finance team and will bring her capital markets experience to augment the in-depth knowledge and skills we can already place at our clients’ disposal.”
