North East councils to procure £50m legal services framework agreement with significantly reduced number of suppliers
- Details
The Association of North East Councils, trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO), has fired the gun on the procurement of a legal services framework worth an estimated £50m.
The 48-month agreement will consist of a maximum of 12 supplierss and will be made available for use by contracting authorities throughout the United Kingdom.
NEPO said it is anticipated that the latest framework agreement will be subject to future renewals.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12 pm on 6 June 2023.
The agreement will be a direct replacement for the current 12-lot NEPO513 Framework Agreement for Legal Services, which in September 2019 saw 35 law firms and one barristers chambers appointed. That framework was at the time estimated to be worth £60m over four years.
