South West local authority to procure £8m legal services framework
- Details
Cornwall Council has launched the procurement of a legal services framework worth an estimated £8m.
The local authority said the framework would be, primarily, solicitors' firms “that can be used on a call-off basis to provide external legal advice to support the council, council-owned entities and potentially other clients in the south west region to deliver their priorities”.
The closing date is 11 January 2021 (12 pm).
The contract is scheduled to start on 1 April 2021 and end on 31 March 2025.
In 2015 Cornwall named seven firms to a six-lot legal services framework worth up to £3m. Those firms were:
- Browne Jacobson
- DAC Beachcroft
- DWF
- Foot Anstey
- Michelmores
- Prolegal
- TLT
