Scottish Police Authority selects nine firms for £3.84m panel

The Scottish Police Authority has appointed nine law firms to a legal services framework worth an estimated £3.84m.
The framework has been divided into the following lots:
- Employment law and legal advice re HR matters,
- General litigation and advice.
- Advice and representation on complaints, conduct and disciplinary matters in respect of police officers and staff.
- Inquiries and reviews.
- Procurement advice.
The successful firms were:
- Balfour + Manson (Lots 2, 3, 4).
- Clyde & Co (Scotland) (1, 3).
- DAC Beachcroft Scotland (1, 2, 3).
- DWF (4).
- Ledingham Chalmers (1, 2, 3, 4).
- MacRoberts (5).
- Morton Fraser (1, 2, 4).
- Thorntons Law (1).
- TLT (5).
The award criteria were quality (weighting: 60) and price (weighting: 40).
