South London Legal Partnership names six firms to legal services panel
- Details
The South London Legal Partnership (SLLP), the shared legal service for five London boroughs, has appointed six law firms to its legal services panel.
The successful firms were:
- Ashfords
- Bevan Brittan
- Bond Dickinson
- Devonshires
- Sharpe Pritchard
- Trowers & Hamlins.
SLLP combines the legal teams from Merton, Richmond, Kingston, Sutton and Wandsworth, providing the full remit of local authority legal services, supplemented by external legal services when required.
Sarah Lamont, partner at Bevan Brittan, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with South London Legal Partnership and its members. We have had strong relationships with all of the five Boroughs individually for a number of years and we look forward to continuing to work closely with them as part of this innovative five borough shared service.”
Last November the SLLP said the successful firms appointed would be the firms of choice for the Property and Commercial Team and the three Litigation, Housing and Planning teams. Any requirement for external legal advice on major projects would be addressed outside of the scope of these appointments, given the potential value.
