Nottingham Trent University has appointed nine providers to two frameworks for legal services worth an estimated £8m over eight years.

The university has divided the framework into the following lots:

  • Lot 1a - Property or Real Estate (estimated value including VAT: £1.5m)
  • Lot 1b – Construction (£1.5m)
  • Lot 2a - Human Resources - Ad-Hoc (£1.6m)
  • Lot 2b - Human Resources - Retainer Service (£250,000)
  • Lot 3 - Dispute Resolution (£600,000)
  • Lot 4 - Commercial and Corporate Services (£600,000)
  • Lot 5 - Student Matters (£600,000)
  • Lot 6 – Patent Management (£1.35m)

The successful firms were:

  • Barker Brettell (Lot 6)
  • Bevan Brittan (2a)
  • Browne Jacobson (1a, 4)
  • Eversheds Sutherland (2b)
  • Freeths (1a, 1b, 2a)
  • Greaves Brewster (6)
  • HCR Legal (1b)
  • Mills & Reeve (1a, 1b, 3, 4, 5)
  • Shakespeare Martineau (2a, 3, 4, 5)

Framework one is expected to run from 10 March 2026 to 9 March 2029, with framework two running for 60 months to 9 March 2034.
