Administrative Law Bar Association issues guidance on preparing for remote hearings

The Administrative Law Bar Association has made a series of recommendations to assist advocates on how to prepare for, and effectively participate in, remote hearings in public law cases which do not involve oral evidence.
ALBA said the conduct of hearings by video-link or telephone could pose particular challenges for advocates.
The guidance covers:
- Preparation: focusing on the issues.
- Preparation: documents.
- Preparation: technology.
- The hearing: presentation and formalities.
- The hearing: advocacy.
